Waiver & Risk Disclosure 

This document is provided for informational purposes only. A signed waiver is required prior to participation and will be completed digitally and/or in person before the tour.

1. Acknowledgment of Risk

I acknowledge that participating in a guided tour (including walking and e‐bike tours)

organized by College Town Tours involves inherent risks. These risks include, but are not

limited to: falls, collisions, traffic hazards, injuries, inclement weather, and terrain

conditions. I understand that I may also participate in walking segments and voluntarily

assume all risks related to participation.

 

2. Release of Liability

In consideration for being permitted to participate, I release and hold harmless College

Town Tours, its owners, employees, tour guides, agents, and affiliates from any claims,

damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from personal injury, property damage, illness, or

death resulting from my participation, except in the case of gross negligence or willful

misconduct.

 

3. Food and Allergy Disclaimer

I understand that the tour may include stops at local restaurants or venues that serve food

or beverages, including those that may contain allergens such as nuts, gluten, dairy, or

shellfish. I acknowledge that I am solely responsible for managing any food allergies or

dietary restrictions I may have and I am responsible for informing any restaurants of such

allergies. College Town Tours is not liable for any allergic reactions or food-related health

issues that may occur.

 

4. Alcohol Consumption (if applicable)

Alcohol Consumption is not permitted before or during the E-bike tour as it is against State Law to operate an E-bike while under the influence of alcohol.

 

5. Fitness to Participate

I confirm that I am physically capable of riding an e‐bike, walking, and participating in the

tour. I understand it is my responsibility to disclose any relevant medical conditions or

physical limitations before the tour begins.

6. Helmets and Safety

I understand that helmets will be provided and that I am required to wear one throughout

the bike portion of the tour.

 

7. Compliance with Laws and Instructions

I agree to comply with all traffic laws, local regulations, and instructions from tour guides. I

understand that e‐bikes may be prohibited on certain areas of campus and that walking may

be required.

 

8. Photo and Video Release

I grant College Town Tours permission to use any photographs or video taken during the

tour for promotional or marketing purposes unless I notify the company in writing.

 

9. Emergency Medical Authorization

In the case of a medical emergency, I authorize College Town Tours staff or tour guides to

seek medical treatment from certified person(s) on my behalf if I am unable to provide

consent.

 

10. Cancellation and Refund Policy

I understand that tours may be rescheduled or canceled due to weather, safety, or

operational concerns. I agree to the refund policy as outlined during booking.

11. Participants Under 18 Years of Age

If a participant if under 18 years of age, a Participant/Liability Release Waiver must be signed by their parent or legal guardian.

 

When participating in the E-bike tour, children under 10 years of age must ride with a parent.

 

Parents are responsible for determining if their minor child is capable of participating in the walking and E-bike tours.
