Weather & Tour Cancellations

College Town Tours is an outdoor walking experience. Tours generally operate rain or shine, but guest safety and comfort always come first.

When Tours May Be Modified or Canceled:

Tours may be delayed, shortened, or canceled due to weather conditions such as:

• Lightning or severe storms

• Extreme heat

• Unsafe cold, wind chill, or icy conditions

• Any weather that creates unsafe walking conditions

Weather decisions are made as close to tour time as possible to ensure accuracy.

If we cancel a tour because of weather:

• Guests will be notified by email or text

• Guests will be offered:

  • A full refund, or

  • The option to rebook for a future date/tour time

Guest Preparation:

We recommend that guests:

• Check the forecast before booking

• Dress appropriately for the weather

• Bring water and weather-appropriate gear (rain jacket, umbrella, layers, etc.)

Because Fayetteville weather can change quickly, we appreciate your flexibility.

We will never run a tour if conditions are unsafe or likely to significantly impact guest comfort.
